Local Link was a consortium of local organisations led by Real DPO. It ran for over eight years and supported thousands of Tower Hamlets residents with information, advice and advocacy. It collectively secured millions of pounds of benefits for eligible residents.
Local Link is ending on the 16th of July. From 19th July 2021, Local Link has been replaced by a new service called Tower Hamlets Connect. This is a new consortium led by Age UK East London. The partner organisations are Apasen, Bromley By Bow Centre, Deafplus, Island Advice, Limehouse Project, Positive East, Real DPO and Tower Hamlets Law Centre.
